I’ve been having a problem with my ATT iPhone data connection, wherein I keep getting booted off the 3G network, even when I have a decent signal. When this happens, my phone doesn’t display the friendly “3G” in the title bar, but switches to a little evil “E.”
This means my connection is WAY slower, and also that I cannot access data during voice calls, which is essential to my work.
I decided, therefore, to keep track of this annoying problem. By taking pictures of my screen every time it happened, I found that I had to reset my phone 21 times in a four-day period (to get back onto the 3G network). If it weren’t for my contract, I would probably switch to Verizon.
